I went out with a girl who drank 11??? She asked me for a ride home but ended up just having me drop her off at her weed dealers house. Because most of my dating was online, the biggest ones were those who misrepresented themselves in their profile. Pictures were several years old with significant weight gain, had some sort of undisclosed mental handicap leading to some awkward pauses, had zero consideration for being on time and just sitting there answering with just one word answers were some of the reasons I never pursued a second date.
I am flexible with most things and can cut alot of people some slack, but i hate tardiness. Nothing to talk about was the main one. I echo the no smoking rule. Several times I watched a woman light up a cigarette and I left. I talk a lot more about this in my article on why guys suddenly lose interest. How can I make sharing a bed with my partner easier? The sex scape was barren but he found out he just wakes up in the middle of the night and starts putting the moves on she'll get into it, so at least he is seeing some action rather regularly now. You'd be surprised how the inverse --that is, just having sex all the time and expecting that to be a relationship-- is just as awful.
I mean sex is great. It's fucking awesome, but if I want to date somebody, I want to get to know them and them me. Stay away from Reno, NV, my dudes. To me sex can be a fun activity, a mutual expression of love, an act of service that is given freely and received freely; but it should never be a commodity to be hoarded and used for barter. My ex did this because she resented me for a few things.
She never discussed those things even though I asked in many ways in many occasions. So, she is my ex. When I moved out of that room I found fingernail marks running down the wall. And in my experience, the longer a girl makes you wait before having sex, the worse the sex ends up being. It's like they've built their own value in bed up so high in their head that they forgot about actually making it worth while.
Being passive in the "where to go" aspect. If you refuse to contribute to the decision makong, you're more likely to end up doing something one of you doesn't want to do. Deciding a man's character value because his relationship with his mom is unstable. Why is it assumed instantly that it's his fault?
Is there ever a possibility his mother is abusive? And I mean, it's totally not something you lay out even on a 5th date. At least see how he treats his aunts, sisters, cousins, grandma, and just people in general. I don't like my mother at all. My wife before she was my wife saw past that and we have been happily married for years.
This is one that would definitely bother me if it did happen. I currently haven't spoke to my mother in over 6 years.
I imagine quite a few more dudes don't have great relationships with theirs. Judging how they treat women from that is crazy. I've heard this before and it's stupid as shit. It speaks to the fact that that person can't understand anything out of their own experience.
I've had the above happen to me a few times and I've never gone past the first date. Seriously, we aren't a canvas and requiring staring contests to pick out all of our flaws isn't cool.
Simply enjoy yourself and be there. I attribute the success of my relationship to the fact that, within the first 2 weeks of our dating, we both sat down and stated clearly what we were looking for in the relationship, how we planned to get it, and what our breaking points were.
I don't want to pry, but I guess I do. So within two weeks what type of breaking points were you comfortable sharing? I don't see myself that open that quickly. Mostly just what would make us call it quits for the relationship. At the time I wasn't interested in casual dating just for dating's sake; I was looking for a long-term relationship that would hopefully end in marriage.
So I told her that if at any point I felt like marriage was definitively off the table with her, I wouldn't want to continue. She felt the same way, so it worked out nicely. I'm very much a proponent of naming these things early on. Sometimes it can end the relationship, but in those cases I believe the relationship was doomed to fail anyway if the truth is what ends it. Better to cut it off early and clean and not waste anyone's time. I had this happen with a single girl I had just met. In our first and only conversation, she proceeded to tell me that she had 3 ex husbands, two of which are baby daddies.
I patiently listened to her bemoan how poorly she was treated by them over the years. She then thankfully informed me that she had Herpes 1, and had a recent outbreak "down there".

What does it mean if a guy does this? Because I've had this happen to me numerous times, and it's super awkward. Like, am I filling a void for you? Am I your therapist? Why do you think I care? It puts a lot of pressure on me to NOT be like that other girl. Also, was she really the only one with a problem? It seems to be a universal issue, as every single woman I've ever had a relationship with has felt the need to flap her yap about her ex-boyfriends in torturous detail.
When I've pointed out how shitty they would feel if I were to discuss how firm my ex's ass was or that her tits weren't sagging they got really upset. But, they still didn't get why they should STFU. Just got home from date couple hours ago. Chick wouldn't shut up about her ex. That is the fast track to NEXTville. How do women not get this simple concept.
Its fucking rude, plain and simple. Having her phone on the table when we're on a date and looking at it every time it lights up or vibrates.
The only time it's acceptable to look at your phone IMO is if you get a phone call. Seriously went on multiple dates with a girl who did this, It didn't last. Keep your phone in your purse or pocket and actually pay attention to your date, show some respect. I have been in a date where she got a call and she spoke for about good 15 minutes.
I remember one of my dates, she bragged about how one guy was after her and she gave a damn about it. I felt bad for that guy She also had no feelings I think I felt compassionate about them but she kind of laughed off Most of the big mistakes I have seen women make when dating revolve around passive-aggressive behavior and insecurity.
Worst First Date Moves From Reddit - AskMen
They could avoid a lot of dating issues if they just learned to love themselves and be honest, open, and more direct about their needs. Sure she was really hot but why try to kiss the married guy when his single friends actually want to talk to you? Viewing themselves as some sort of reward or something, like they're the one that's amazing and you need to work for them. Nah uh, I have standards, fuck outta here with that superiority complex.

Pardon but where are these women, because every girl I've ever met wanted no sex and all commitment. Punched a man named Jim and am currently awaiting trial for assault. I find it mildly interesting that there's a popular saying by women that says the opposite. This is so false for me as a straight man. I don't feel attraction unless I have sex with someone. Once I do, I fall for them hard. Not being honest about what they want and taking rational measures and conducting cost benefit analyses to acquire it, especially to the point they don't know and accept it themselves.
The "I just want a guy who's smart and funny and likes puppies and we can read books and go hiking and.. I think a lot of" dating mistakes" women make is either pretending that's not true themselves, trying to convince other people it's not true either, and all the ways they act that are a direct consequence of that. It's an interesting thought experiment if you imagine a world where there's an enormous amount of mythology and taboo and social meaning built up around some essential activity other than mating, that we rationally accept in this world is purely a relationship where both parties get exactly what they're after and it is viewed as positive based exactly around that.
A career is an obvious case study, imagine you are only allowed to select candidates based on their fuzzily defined positive social traits like humour and being nice, all job interviews look effectively the same, and there's all this ritual and artifice in the interview process that means the candidates and their evaluators have to go through elaborate rituals to probe the underlying features of the role they'll be expected to actually perform day to day without it being permissible the role is directly actually defined, largely by the employer starting every sentence with "it makes me feel" when some concrete aspect of the role has been neglected, and every slip insufficiently artfully concealed away from the "official story" is grounds for a complaint with HR.
Some months later the nuclear plant melts down because the chief engineer's sole qualification was extensive experience in sales and a sideline in stand up comedy, and neither the power station business, salesmen, nuclear engineers, stand up comics, or indeed anyone in a fucking three mile radius of the smoldering ruin are well served by the state of affairs. The above situation is so dysfunctional you can barely imagine it not destroying civilisation period, and yet that's pretty much what we get when it comes to forming partnerships for the propagation of the species on an ongoing basis.
Too many girls miss this simple trick! I'll be more miserable, you'll be more miserable, let's save everyone the trouble. Using photos on Tinder that look nothing like you. Not engaging in conversation, so common on tinder to get just one word replies, like drawing blood from a stone. Women may also experience the same problem with men though so this is just my perspective, I just haven't tried to date any men. Getting really committed to a man they haven't known for very long. Especially if they decide to move in together, get a pet together, etc. Then when the relationship blows up it's this big mess.
Dating a man who is in the process of a divorce, still married, breaking up with a long term gf, etc. Some guys do move from serious relationships straight to the next one, but I don't think it's all that common. A guy that just went through a divorce or whatever is usually going to play the field for a while. This is also seems to happen a lot with a guy that seems out of a woman's league, and so she's trying really hard to make things serious asap. That seriously sounds like what I did when I went through my breakup last summer.

What is really the worst that could happen? You get an honest answer? You care less in the situation you described. And then you stop giving them attention and they bitch about it. I don't want to play games, yo. I just want to touch your booty. It's no matter either way, because the dude abides. My ex fucking me and my roommate after we took a break but she "still loved me".
